About
Hi, I’m Rhea, a Brooklyn-based designer and researcher who spends too much time wondering why things are the way they are: the systems we live in, the products we swear by, and the memes that somehow decide our self-worth.
My work lives at the intersection of research, strategy, and storytelling. Some days that means prototyping some furniture, other days it’s mapping brand systems or co-designing workshops. No matter the format, my goal is simple: to help people pause, connect, and make sense of the world (and if we laugh along the way, even better).
I’ve been lucky to collaborate with brands, nonprofits, and communities on tools, experiences, and narratives that are thoughtful, sometimes rebellious, and always human. Most recently, I wrapped up my Master’s at Pratt Institute, where I explored beauty, aging, and digital identity through participatory and speculative design, basically, how to make immortality a design problem.
Outside of design, you’ll probably find me:
Experimenting in the kitchen (often successful, occasionally “experimental”).
Enjoying all sorts of films and books.
Getting way too competitive over board games or trivia night.
Wandering with a sketchbook, collecting scraps of the world, and finding small ways to live more sustainably (yes, that includes saving water).
At the heart of it, I’m a lifelong learner, curious, collaborative, and convinced that impact starts one step (or one saved drop) at a time.
Thanks for stopping by. I'd love to make something meaningful together.
